Chapter 15- Restore & Redeem

In Jan 2009, travelled to Africa in an effort to seek out humanitarian needs. This in turn resulted in initiating a development project to recast a vision for women in Eastern Africa who have been marginalized in society because of political wars, HIV and human trafficking .

The all white collection was a tribute to those women, & the history of Africa. The runway show illustrated the pillage of continent by Western Europe (hence the conquistador moustache), & the evolution of restoration/redemption unfolding into the present.

As an aside, over the past 8yrs, the vision has evolved into a reality. The non-profit endeavour has resulted in a host of transformed lives, and a build project in the near future.
