Masks are made of machine washable traditional East African cotton Kitenge cloth with a mouldable nose bridge, adjustable drawstring that allows you to wear around your neck when not in use, as well as an internal pocket to accommodate an antibacterial or N95 filter (not included). They are available in Adult L (Men), Medium (women/ Teens 13-18), Small (Age 7-12) and X-Small (Age 3-6).
NOTE: Colours and patterns of the masks will vary with each shipment. However, there will be an effort made to accommodate requests for masks based on gender, or preferences of colour or graphics versus florals.
*Colour of tie pattern configuration may vary slightly from photo. Please be advised that some stitch irregularity is natural with treadle machine sewing, and as such is a characteristic of the construction.
In Rwanda, all citizens are required to wear masks when they leave their homes, yet many cannot afford to purchase one, let alone a reusable one. So, with each mask purchase, one will be donated to a citizen in Rwanda. 100% of remaining revenue will go to sustaining this women’s business initiative and raising funds for Hope’s new vocational training school/residence to further transform lives of marginalized youth and victims of gender-based violence.
